Yangarra is a Cardium producer. Mgmt is very careful and cost conscious. They are good operators but probably not the most exciting mgmt team to get investors lathered up.

Yangarra had .05 cashflow for Q2 so fwd price to cashflow is 2.7. Pretty cheap and with excellent prospects ahead of them as they drill out their multi year inventory of Cardium wells. Yangarra has adopted many of the cost savings drilling and completion techniques to dramatically decrease costs from a peak of 5.1million/well in 2011 to 2.8million in 2013. IRR has soared from 40% to 100%.

Yangarra recently did a farmin on adjacent land to increase Cardium drill sites by over 30.

Yangarra should continue to benefit from their increased knowledge of the cardium play.

I bought a few more based on increasing guidance for 2014 and the fact that Yangarra has significant acreage in the Duvernay play. Yangarra is undervalued based on their production and Cardium acreage but the Duvernay is a free bonus. They have raised sufficient money to drill a stratigraphic test well in the Duvernay in 2014. If successful, that would give Yangarra blue sky potential as the Duvernay gets developed by bigger players.

YGR.v +.03 to C$.90 Yangarra keeps climbing on no news. The cardium acreage is attractive and the better ngas prices will help YGR, since it's still producing lots of ngas.

NPV of $1.40 per share doesn't include undeveloped Cardium, Glauconite OR 39,040 net acres in the Duvernay. Multiply 39,040 by $2 to 4,000/acre and you get $78 to 156million in additional potential value as the Duvernay is derisked and developed by bigger players.

According to Yangarra's 2013 year end engineering report the Company is valued at $1.40 per share (2P (pre-tax) at PV 10, net of debt). The financing late last year provided the necessary liquidity to achieve the outstanding reserve additions generated by the Company in the fourth quarter of 2013. There is significant additional intrinsic value not booked in the reserve report in our 53,000 acres (including farm-in acreage) of undeveloped Cardium and Glauconite land and for our 39,040 acre net Duvernay land position.

TD Bank recently opined that liquids rich Duvernay lands may be worth $2,000 - $4,000 per acre in Pembina/Willesden Green which positions our shareholders with great option value in this rapidly developing play. Yangarra has recently retained the services of two experienced shale professionals to develop the asset with plans in progress to drill a vertical strata-graphic test well.
