Hi Bobwins,

Is this the Swift energy that sells limited partnerships in percentage ownership in wells? I believe not. It is publicly traded. One may be ok here but what is happenning so fast to the US & changing conditions with another greater black swan than 2008, I have concluded it would be less risk to stay away from the public markets. Think these markets will go through another greater liquidity crunch.

Concentrate on cash flow & private ownership with existing oil fields to reduce all the risk one can & have large payouts every month on barrels per month pumped . This seems to be working although since I launched it last summer 2012 , the jury is still out.

I am very interested in the Eagle Ford Shale. Originally I held Sundance Energy, an Aussie junior, because they had EFS, Mississippian and Wattenberg/Niobrara acreage. However recently I sold Sundance and bought SFY. SWIFT Energy is dirt cheap, selling for 2X fwd cashflow and 21K per flowing barrel. Produces 32Kboepd and has 192million boe's in reserves.
Switching from ngas to liquids production. Going to sell off some acreage and production in Central Louisiana to help fund a concentration on EFS acreage that totals over 75,000. Should net them 400million.

Market cap is around 560million which is ridiculous compared to reserves, production and cashflow. Should move up as they demonstrate more success. They are altering fracks to improve IP rates and lower costs. Typical well cost them 11million when they started drilling EFS. Now $7million.

If there is any interest here in the Eagle Ford Trend in Texas, it would be good at least general knowledge to know. I have interest that border this trend and may include it at some point. Our wells do better on a cost basis but this area of Texas is the biggest oil investment in the entire world at present & it is only one trend in Texas. There was over $29 Billion $ dollars in investment in this trend , more than any where in the world, in 2013. Huge. The above link monitors this Trend information every day. Many articles are posted.

Eagle Ford Shale Overview, Eagle Ford Shale Geology, Eagle Ford’s Location,
Eagle Ford Companies,
all of these are discussed in the link above.

Sanchez Energy Increases Eagle Ford Production Seven Fold Over
2012

T he Eagle Ford Shale (EFS) is quite possibly the largest single economic development in the history of the state of Texas and ranks as the largest oil & gas development in the world based on capital invested. Almost $30 billion will be spent developing the play in 2013. The play had more than a $60 billion dollar impact on the local South Texas economy in 2012 and over 116,000 Eagle Ford jobs were supported in the 20 county area impacted by the play. Add the jobs created in surrounding counties and the picture of a modern oil boom begins to take shape.

From record drilling levels to wells producing over 4,000 b/d of oil initially, the play is redefining South Texas as an oil industry hotbed. If you own a business in South Texas, begin thinking about how the Eagle Ford is changing the economic landscape and your future. Oil & gas production is bringing new found wealth to the region.
